I just put some new wheels on my miata, and now I have a pile of 8 spares in my garage: 4 black steelies and 4 original NA Miata “daisy” wheels.
Should I keep the daisies for possible re-use later since they are original equipment and in good shape? I plan on keeping the car basically forever.

I’d hold onto them. I’m not sure what use you’d have for them since anyone looking for more grip goes +1 on the wheel size and bumps the width up to 7”, but it’s only a matter of time until people are starting to have trouble finding the “sought after” original wheels.

Keep. Put the wheels in your attic or somewhere out the weather.

Daisy’s just aren’t valuable enough to make it worth selling. I’d keep them around so you have something for eventual snow tires if needed(I don’t know where you live).

Keep them and stick them on the car when you want to sell it. That way, you can make a profit on the current wheels and whatnot.

Keep, what if god forbid you cracked a wheel or two. Instead of having to spend money on wheels you’ll have some great backups.

Keep. They’re perfect spares.

Keep one set, not both.

I always keep parts I upgraded from, and parts I replaced so I can fo back and look at what I did should I ever need to
